  13. Are you disappointed with the amount of software which supports
  14. the wheel?
  15.  
  16. If this sounds like you, then you'll love FreeWheel!
  17.  
  18. FreeWheel can scroll any window which either contains standard gadtools
  19. scrollbars, or listens for cursor up/down keypresses.
  20.  
  21. Clicking of the wheel-button (or MMB on non-wheeled mice) can be
  22. mapped to several functions, including the ubiquitous MMB-Shift.
  23.  
  24. FreeWheel also provides continuous adjustment of mouse speed,
  25. between 33% and 300%, via a hotkey-accessible GUI.
  26.  
  27. It can also provide my personally preferred click-to-front behaviour
  28. (where a double-click in the window border brings forward the window)
  29.  
  30. FreeWheel is NOT a serial mouse driver - so you'll still need NewMouse
  31. or whatever to drive your mouse.

  33. New for V1.1:
  34. The Horizontal and Vertical mouse speeds can now be set individually.
  35. Useful if you're working a screen mode which doesn't have square pixels.
  36.  
  37. Screens can now be cycled with a double-click of the middle/wheel button.

  39. Horizontal scrollers and sliders can now be moved with the wheel.
